Wow, what can I possibly say in this review to express what a wonderful time we had staying at the Village Cave House Hotel. The property owner (named appropriately Onur) and his entire staff were attentive and available for anything we needed. Which, as Americans with limited Turkish was A LOT! We arranged all of our tours through the hotel, who coordinated our pick ups and drop offs. The Turkish Breakfast in the morning was ample and delicious, the house cleaning staff were super sweet, and they even offered extra services like laundry, which made all the difference in our stay of six days. The location is ideal, just a three minute walk from being in the middle of everything, yet, quiet enough at night being away from the main drag. Several of the mornings we had front row seats as the balloons sailed over the town of Göreme, what an amazing show. This is not the Ritz - we stayed in a true rustic cave hotel room, no air conditioning, but the large fan in the cool evening breezes made sleeping in August very easy. If you are looking for pampering and luxury, this is not your spot, but if you are looking for a place with absolutely stunning views, an authentic experience and a really helpful staff to guide your visit to Cappadocia, this is the place!

The location was wonderful and stunningly beautiful both at night and during the day. The experience of staying in a room and hotel that was an actual cave was so special and delightful, not to mention cozy and comfortable! There were also charming lounge areas, decked out with all the comforts of tables, pillows and blankets, to socialize and enjoy the evening or sunrise. The whole place was so tastefully appointed and decorated; it really created an appealing vibe and Instagram-worthy photos! Most of all I appreciated the warm hospitality and helpfulness of Onur and his brother, the owners and proprietors, which was exceptional. Anything I wanted to do—-from horseback riding, Whirling Dervish show, hot air ballooning to just hiking around or finding an ATM—-Onur kindly and patiently advised and helped me. I felt so comfortable and well cared for there. This was my favorite place to stay out of a 3-week vacation exploring a couple countries, and I would love to come back!

View - Probably the best in Cappadocia !! We saw the other hotels around but the view from this place was simply amazing. Picturesque ! Location - Walking distance to all the restaurants and shopping in Central Cappadocia ! Room - Made naturally in the Cave, the room is Cozy and Comfortable. Fantastic looking, the room is well equipped with a mini fridge, Kettle, etc too. Bathroom - Spacious and a fantastic Jacuzzi has also been provided. Works great and destresses you after your sightseeing . Breakfast - Excellent Turkish Cold breakfast is served to the guests. We loved the variety of cheese on the platter :-) The Reception is manned by ONUR, who owns the place. We just dropped into Cappadocia without any travel agent / tour package. Onur helped us with the airport transfers, Hot air balloon bookings, Green tour & even a fantastic Hamam in Cappadocia. This really helped us have a fantastic time there !

To start with, the whole city is UNBELIEVABLE, I felt to be in another planet! The room and the bathroom were spacious, clean, organize and a little bit dark for my taste but also it gives another touch to the cave. The beds is high, comfy, good quality of sheets and pillows. Everyday you are able to get a free bottle of water that they deliver it in the little fridge which is on the room. The hotel is located in the heart of Goreme, around 5 minutes to the main street and restaurants. The breakfast quite nice, adapted for vegetarians, different Turkish dishes, cheeses, juices, etc. The terrace has such a good carpet taste and amazing view and easy to take 100 photos in just 5 minutes XD DO NOT HESITATES AND STAY WITH THEM :)

Absolutely everything! Location , sparking clean , staff absolutely phenomenal! Onur extremely helpful! His colleague ( forgot the name ) completely helpful ass well he recommended his cousin huseyin as a driver ! It did save us a lot of money ! All three of them Join forces when our little one had to Go To hospital ! From connections to the best price at a private hospital, to “you pay me tomorrow don’t worry about money” , or sneaking in the room to tale photos to our pasaport so we can use them in hospital ! All them helped us extremely ! Really family and boutique feel about the venue !
